Housing construction crews building in Calimesa, CA discovered oil about a year ago at a Calimesa project site near Stater Brothers on Cherry Valley Ave and failed to disclose this discovery to the public.
It appears that what they did instead was cover the leaking oil with plastic tarps for the last year and proceeded to purchase ALL of the available property in the region.
After our report, in addition to investigating the apparent hoarding of oil-impacted land, investigators will also focus on motivations behind other recent property sales in the area that should have continued to be maintained by the original owners, and not those apparently greedy for oil properties.
It also appears that as they continued to keep the discovery of the oil and natural gas a secret, they proceeded to move their families westbound in an effort to secretly capitalize and benefit from the oil that occurs naturally in the northern part of Riverside County, California.
