CommentHere at The Look of Love, we extend our sincerest sympathies to the family and friends of Jonathan Lewis, a teen who died defending the life of a younger child who was bullied. According to Jonathan's father, "Jonathan was a loving, giving, kind, fierce young man who loved community and caring for others... Lewis Sr. said his son wanted to join the US military and was preparing to come to live with him in Austin, Texas. He said he hoped his son’s death could be a catalyst for greater efforts to tackle a rising tide of youth-on-youth violence."

After her death, Izzy's mother vowed "to make Izzy’s life matter by speaking out about bullying, racism and the importance of understanding autism so that no other parent has to suffer like she has." - WGNTV/AP News
It is our hope that Izzy's mother receives the platform she needs to defend the lives of chidren that are bullied.
