What we do know is that the leader of a movement that had carried such promise for Haiti's most marginalized and exploited by outside forces, was out, and U.S. and U.N. officials would continue to intervene unrighteously for years to keep it that way... Top U.S. democratic officials, (Clintons & Obama) discussed how the Aristide Movement must be stopped... and years of more outside meddling" decimated and dismantled Haiti.
