"Their faces stare down from every street corner in Israel on posters now sun-faded and ripped. Their stories, told by anguished family members, are almost as well-known as celebrities. They are civilians and soldiers, fathers and sons. Some were at the Nova music festival, where almost 400 people were killed and dozens kidnapped.

On Monday, Hamas released 20 hostages into the custody of the Red Cross, which then brought them to Israel as part of a new ceasefire deal that many hope will signal an end to two years of war...

Under the ceasefire agreement that took effect last Friday, the remaining hostages were to be released within 72 hours. Israel released around 2,000 Palestinian prisoners in exchange."

"Israel joined the families in celebration on Monday as Hamas released the 20 remaining living hostages under the Gaza ceasefire deal brokered by Israel and the United States...

The first seven living hostages — Matan Angrest, Alon Ohel, Omri Miran, Eitan Mor, Guy Gilboa-Dallal and twin brothers Gali and Ziv Berman — were handed over to the Red Cross in Gaza City, in the Strip’s north, at about 8 a.m. and transferred to Israeli forces inside Gaza about an hour later.

The next 13 — Elkana Bohbot, Avinatan Or, Yosef-Haim Ohana, Evyatar David, Rom Braslavski, Segev Kalfon, Nimrod Cohen, Maxim Herkin, Eitan Horn, Matan Zangauker, Bar Kupershtein and brothers David and Ariel Cunio — were handed over to the Red Cross in Khan Younis, in the Strip’s south, shortly before 11 a.m. and transferred to Israeli forces inside Gaza about an hour later.

Each released hostage was taken to the Re’im border facility, where they were reunited with their families in emotional scenes.

They underwent initial medical checks at Re’im to determine if any of them needed immediate, urgent treatment.

They were then flown on a military chopper to hospitals in central Israel, where they will undergo treatment and rehabilitation. Israeli Air Force chief Maj. Gen. Tomer Bar personally flew the helicopter transporting Cohen and his family to Sourasky Medical Center, the military said.

Footage released by the IDF showed hostages’ families to be elated and tearful as they reunited with their loved ones, as large crowds gathered in Jerusalem and on Tel Aviv’s Hostages Square cheered from afar.

Tens of thousands of people gathered in Hostages Square to celebrate the release, waving Israeli flags and singing and dancing."

"In Port-au-Prince, where neighborhoods still teem with flimsy lean-tos and tarp-covered shacks, residents told ABC News they harbor frustrations with the way the Clintons marshaled international aid.

'I didn’t get any of the money,' said Inèse Luma, who lives crammed with five relatives in a makeshift home of tarp, wood and plastic. 'I don’t think I’m ever going to have a permanent house.'

Efforts to rebuild the thousands of homes destroyed by the 7.0 quake have inched forward. In six years, USAID says, it has constructed fewer than 1,500 homes, and many of those have had to be rebuilt because of poor workmanship.

At the same time, the Clinton Foundation says it 'facilitated' the construction of a luxury hotel in Port-au-Prince, a Marriott owned by Denis O’Brien, who has given $10 million to $25 million to the Clinton Foundation. O’Brien, an Irish billionaire who runs the Jamaica-based telecom giant Digicel, said he financed the hotel himself."

What we do know is that the leader of a movement that had carried such promise for Haiti's most marginalized and exploited by outside forces, was out, and U.S. and U.N. officials would continue to intervene unrighteously for years to keep it that way... The World Needs To Finally Intervene Righteously On Haiti

Please be advised that Haiti needs Peace and Reconciliation efforts, not further destruction.

My efforts have been delayed because of the ongoing attacks, but it is imperative that we complete the Biblical requirements of compassion for Haiti right away.

Korea's abuses against Haiti are completely unacceptable, and we need to straighten out their egregious and unrighteous efforts in Haiti or move them out!

It is imperative that supports are provided that heal Haiti, not exploit it.

It is required that Haiti receives support and compassion going forward, anything other than this will lead to America's decline, and a close to spiritual opportunities.

Invite Russia, China, India, and any other nation who righteously will participate in helping to restore and heal Haiti after multiple natural disasters, oppression, and the grueling impacts of prolonged poverty.

"Yom Kippur fast day is the holiest day of the year, when we are closest to G‑d and to the essence of our souls. Yom Kippur means “Day of Atonement,” as the verse states, “For on this day He will forgive you, to purify you, that you be cleansed from all your sins before G‑d.”1

The 10th day of Tishrei (in 2024, from several minutes before sunset on Friday, October 11, until after nightfall on Shabbat, October 12), coming on the heels of Rosh Hashanah (the Jewish New Year, which is on the first and second days of Tishrei).

For nearly 26 hours we “afflict our souls”: we abstain from food and drink, do not wash or apply lotions or creams, do not wear leather footwear, and abstain from marital relations. Instead, we spend the day in synagogue, praying for forgiveness."
