Colin Kaepernick's journey has been one of triumph to heartbreak for those of us who recognize his universal value and aspire to see his dreams of NFL Superstardom come true.
Across the board we vote THUMBS UP and encourage a conversation on why his legitimate concerns about police brutality were used as the impetus for retaliation and the loss of his career dreams. In our nation, we hope to see all public service workers treated with respect and dignity, but it is equally imperative that the lives and rights of all citizens are also upheld and protected. Considering the facts of our nation's racial history, and the honest nature of the concerns he raised, any just person expressing such sentiments would be held in the highest esteem and light!
Views through a righteous lens should never convict advocacy on behalf of the needs of others. Rather, we should honor this person and grant him the wish of a profound NFL opportunity!
