"The board of Turning Point USA unanimously elected Erika Kirk as its new CEO and board chair, according to a statement posted on social media on Sept. 18.
Erika Kirk, the widow of slain conservative activist Charlie Kirk, will take over the conservative political organization that her husband founded more than a decade ago.
“Charlie expressed to multiple executives that this is what he wanted in the event of his death,” the post on X said.
Erika Kirk often appeared by her husband’s side as he grew Turning Point, the Arizona-based political behemoth aimed at bringing young people into the conservative fold. Charlie Kirk was an ally of President Donald Trump, and his organization was credited with boosting turnout for the president in 2024."
